Step 1: Preparation
First, take a slightly moist paper towel. Preferably use a sponge or a spray bottle for moistening. Place the paper towel on the surface that you wish to engrave later. This will prevent splintering of the glass during the engraving process.
Step 2: Rotary Attachtment
Place the rotary engraving attachment into the laser and insert it. Next, switch the laser on. You can now clamp the glass into the rotary attachment and focus on the surface. If you use a conical glass, tilt the rotary attachment until the engraving surface is positioned parallel to the work table.
Step 3: Used Laser Settings
Open the file "BBQ Glass" and send it to the laser. Make sure that the rotary attachment is enabled in the driver and that you have entered the correct diameter of the glass. You can now start the engraving process.
WE HAVE USED THE PARAMETERS INDICATED BELOW FOR ENGRAVING THE GLASS:
Engraving: Power: 100 %, Speed: 20 %, Resolution: 500 dpi
Step 4: Cleaning
As soon as the engraving is complete, remove the paper from the glass.
