You can use any machine from the Speedy series to create this sample.

Tip

We used a 1.5" lens for our pendant due to our beautiful filigree design.

Step by step

Step 1

Step 1: Import design

Create your design or feel free to import our available template. We scanned our agate crystal disk to our PC to adapt our design to the shape of the stone. Now, you can send the job to the laser using the following driver settings:

Print Settings:

Process Mode	Resolution	Cut Line

TIP:

For perfect results every time, we recommend using the highest possible resolution (1000 dpi) for this engraving job.

Step 2

Step 2: Engraving the Agate Crystal

Place the crystal into your Trotec laser machine and focus on the surface. If your stone is rounded, focus on the average value of the engraving area. Enter the material parameter settings - note that these settings can vary depending on the laser machine you are using and its available power.

Tip:

Due to the +1.5 mm z-offset (out of focus) the contrast will be higher than if you were engraving in focus.

Step 3

Step 3: Post-Processing & Assembly

The greatest part about agate crystals is that these stones don't need to be cleaned after engraving! Attach a leather band or a pin to your new pendant, and your personalised agate crystal is ready to wow your friends / customers!
