100 Watt with 1.5" lens
Vacuum table

You can use any laser machine from the Speedy laser engraver series for this sample.

Tip

To engrave a filigree design, we recommend using a 1.5" lens for this sample.

Step 1

Step 1: Import design

Import our template or create your own design. To adapt our design precisely to the shape of the stone, we scanned our agate disk. Use the driver settings below and send the job to the laser machine .

TIP:

We used the highest possible resolution of 1000 dpi for our laser engraving job for a perfect outcome of our detailed graphics .

Step 2

Step 2: Engraving the agate

Position the agate disk into your Trotec Laser machine and focus on the surface. Focus on the average value of the engraving area, if the stone is rounded. Create the material parameter settings. Depending on laser machine and available laser power, the parameters can vary.
