You are free to use our graphic as a template to create your own design. Or, try getting creative and making something from scratch! Once you have your design, send the job to the laser machine using the following driver settings:

Place the photo frame into your laser machine. Ensure the areas you are going to engrave are flat - this is so that you can easily engrave the wood and the glass in one single pass. Please note that you will need to use a positioning mount because of the back leg of the frame. When you have completed positioning the frame perfectly, focus on the glass.

As we engrave materials with height differences you must calculate the z-Offset. In our case we set the offset value at 7mm, as the height difference between the two materials is 7mm. Remember, the parameters may vary depending on what machine you are using and its available laser power.

Tip:

Try using leftover acrylic or MDF as your distance holders. Just cut them into small circles or crosses.

Clean the photo frame with a damp cloth and remove all the dust residues. Now, your frame is ready for use!
