How to Create a Basic Marking Program
SpeedMark Program Basics
The SpeedMark laser marking software is included with our SpeedMarker galvo machines. Developed to support automated marking processes, the software provides program modules for standard marking tasks. SpeedMark software modules are designed for easy personalization, allowing users to create tailor-made marking programs using graphical flow control. Using macros, the SpeedMark functionality can be customized and extended. This enables you to adapt the software into existing processes and components.

Step-by-Step Video Tutorial
Step 1: Adding Text to Your Processing Flowchart
Select the Outline text element on the left side of the screen. Then place the cursor on the flow chart and left-click to add the element to the flow chart.
Step 2: Adjusting New Graphic Settings
Once the text is placed on the flow chart, a New graphic window will appear. Type your desired text and adjust the text size, font style, etc.
When complete, select Add and position the text on the field.
Step 3: Selecting the Text Fill

Step 5: Adjusting Elements
An element can be selected from the flow chart and adjusted at any time. In this example, the ellipse is selected and its size and location are adjusted.
Step 6: Changing the Material Parameters
Highlight (select) the text and all of the other elements. Next, select the Marking tab in the Graphic properties box. Finally, select Material parameter and choose the desired material from the materials database.
Step 7: Positioning the Job
Position the job before starting the marking process. The pilot laser can be used to outline the position of the mark on the work piece. To start, press F9 or use the icon on the menu bar.
Step 8: Starting the Laser Job
Start the marking process by pressing the F12 key or the Execute button on the menu bar. As illustrated by the flow chart on the left:
- The line will process first
- The circle is marked next
- The third design element to be marked is the text
- The rectangle and the arc are the final design components to be processed
The flow may be adjusted by changing the order of the individual elements.
