Find out how you can make an original present for home-builders using a simple clay brick.
Preparation
Required material
- Clay brick from the DIY store
Machine used
- Speedy 360, 100 Watt
- 1.5" lens
- Vacuum table
For this sample you can use any laser machine from the Speedy laser engraver series.
Tip
We used the 1.5" lens because we wanted to engrave a plan with many details. For designs with less details, use the 2" lens.
Step by step
Step 1: Import design
Create you own design or simply use our already created file. Send the job to the laser machine using the settings below:

Step 2: Engraving the brick
Place the brick in your laser machine, focus on the material and set the material speed and power. Keep in mind that the parameters will vary based on the type of machine and the laser power that is used.

Step 3: Cleaning
Use a wet sponge to clean the surface and bind the dust. This original present is ready to be sold.
