Laser engraved brick
Use our instructions and template below to make a clever house-warming gift out of a brick paver.
Preparation
Materials required
- Brick paver or a clay brick. (You can purchase from an arts and crafts store, or from a local builder.)
Machine used
- Speedy 360, 100 Watt
- 1.5" lens
- Vacuum table
You can create this sample with any laser machine from the Speedy laser engraver series.
Tip
We used the 1.5" lens because we wanted to engrave a plan with many details. For design with less details, use the 2" lens.
Step by step
Step 1: Import design
You can use our template or make your own design. Then send the job to the laser using the driver settings below.

Step 2: Engraving the brick
First, put the brick into your laser engraver and focus on the surface of the material. Then enter your material parameter settings. The parameters can vary depending on laser machine and available laser power, so we recommend testing the settings in advance.

Step 3: Cleaning
Now you are ready to clean the surface of the brick. We used a damp sponge. Your clever gift is ready to sell or gift as you wish!
Inspiration
Individualize the bricks with names or dates.
