Find out how you can make an original present for home-builders using a simple clay brick.
Preparation
Required material
- Clay brick from any good supplier
Laser machine used
- Speedy 360 laser engraving machine, 100 Watt
- 1.5" lens
- Vacuum table
You can use any Speedy laser engraving machine to engrave the brick.
Tip
We used the 1.5" lens because was we were engraving a detailed design. For less detailed designs you can use the 2" lens.
Step by step
Step 1: Import design
The first step is to create your own design or import our template. Use the below parameters to send the job to the laser.

Step 2: Laser engraving the brick
Put the brick onto your Trotec laser engraving machine's bed and focus on the material's surface, Then create the material parameter settings. These will vary depending on laser machine and its available laser power.

Step 3: Cleaning
Use a wet sponge to clean the surface and bind the dust. That's it, your brick is now ready to be gifted or sold.
