Learn how to change the processing time display
The processing time for laser cutting and engraving is determined by the various colours in JobControl. A processing time is calculated by each colour that is used.
This calculation time is based on two things:
- Speed
- Passes
If these parameters are changed in the material database, the processing time must also be recalculated in order to be displayed correctly.

How to recalculate the processing time
Double-click on the processing plate to access the material database. Enter the updated laser parameters in the appropriate fields.
Now you can recalculate the processing time:
- Click on the current job on the plate.
- Click on the “Refresh” button (bottom left).
The processing time will recalculate.
