Preparation
Used material
- 1/4 TroLase ADA bright white 1mm
- 1/4 TroLase ADA black 1,6mm with adhesive
- 1/4 TroGlass Frosted Ice Blue
- 1/4 TroGlass Color Gloss Ice Blue
- 1/4 TroGlass Satins Lime Green translucent with adhesive
- 1/4 TroGlass Satins bright Orange translucent with adhesive
- double sided adhesive tape
Machine used
- Speedy 360, 80 watts
- 2" lens
- Nozzle with big diameter
- Vacuum table with white cutting grid
Any machine in the Speedy range can be used to create these signs.
Tip
Test out different styles with various colours and textures, or using logos from your clients.
Step by step
Step 1: Base plate
Upload our provided template and change it as needed. Send the job of the base plate (bright white) to the laser cutting machine using the driver settings below:

Step 5: Colored layers
Send the coloured layers application, using TroGlass Frosted and TroGlass Color Gloss, to the laser cutter using the driver settings below.
Before cutting the TroGlass Color Gloss and TroGlass Frosted sheet, coat the back of the sheet with adhesive, keeping a minimum of 4cm clear to the top of the sheet - this space is needed for the floating part and the triangles.

Step 6: Laser process colored layers
Tip: Peel off the top protective foil layers from TroGlass Frosted and TroGlass Satin prior to cutting.
The laser cutter parameters may vary depending on the type of laser machine and available laser power.
For the most accurate positioning of the graphic, use the green positioning line.

Step 7: Assembly
Start by sticking the stripe pattern on the white base plate. Correctly place the various layers by lining up the aligning holes.
Next, make sure the TroGlass Frosted plate is precisely glued onto the black ADA.
After that, comes the TroGlass Color Gloss plate. It is best to position them with the letters at the bottom and to make sure that the area without adhesive foil is exactly positioned. Then the black and green or orange letters are pasted on.
Repeat these steps for the back of the shield. Then, the triangles are inserted into the holes provided.
Finally, a string is feathered through the holes and the multi-layer shield is finished.
