Necklace with Laser-Cut Pendant

This pendant is made of 13 laser-cut and engraved pieces. The exact correction of the cutting gaps guarantees a firm hold without glue and the engraving elements allow countless designs.

Step by step

Step 1

Step 1: Design

Import our template or, alternatively, create your own unique design. Send the design to the laser machine.

Do you want to use a different material?

If you wish to use other materials, you may need to adapt parameters and geometries. The cutting gap has been optimised for TroLase Reverse 1.6mm.

Step 2

Step 2: Laser Parameters

We've sent the graphics to the laser machine with 600 dpi and used the following parameters.

Laser Settings:

Engraving: Power: 100% - Speed: 60% - Frequency: 1000 ppi - Air Assist: Ein - Z-Offset: 2.5mm
Cutting: Power: 50% - Speed: 0.6% - Frequency: 2000 Hz - Air Asisst: On

Additionally we activated the optimised geometries-function to achieve an even higher quality.

Step 3

Step 3: Cleaning and assembling

Clean the lasercut pieces with a soft cloth and remove the dust. Then proceed with assembling the pendant by fitting the individual pieces together.

Tip:

To cut the stand, you can also use our template.

Step 4

Step 4: Attach the ribbon

In order to assemble the pendant, take the small disk with the hole, pull the ribbon through and fix with a knot. Cut the overhanging ends short with scissors. In the pictures below we have removed the ribbon, so you can see the assembly better.
