Tip
Step by step
Step 1: Import the design file
Get creative and make your own design, alternatively you can always use the template we provided. Send it to the laser with the recommended laser parameters that are provided below.
Print settings:
Process mode | Resolution | Cut line |
---|---|---|
Standard | 500 dpi | none |
Halftone | Others |
---|---|
Color | enhanced geometries, inner geometries first |
Step 2: Laser process wood
Lay the material on the honeycomb cutting table of your laser. A helpful tip is to cover the remaining areas of the table that are exposed - this helps to create a stronger vacuum. Always keep in mind that the parameters could differ depending on the laser machine used and laser power available.
Position the veneer sheet onto the honeycomb cutting tabletop and cover the remaining work area to produce a bigger vacuum.

Take the laser cut guitar out of the machine and glue the magnetic foil to the back of the guitar.
