Elegant paper wedding invitation
Use the laser for an elegant wedding invitation with the finest details. You can also use the design for menu cards, place cards, or other wedding decorations.
Preparation
Required material
- Cardboard Artoz 220gm², Colour: bamboo No. 287
- cardboard Artoz 220gm², colour: chamois no. 241
- Transparent paper 90gm²
- 5 adhesive dots/card
- Ready printed folding inlays made of e.g. 120gm² paper with information for the celebration
Machine used
- Speedy 400
- 120 watts
- 2" lens
- Nozzle with small hole diameter
- Honeycomb cutting tabletop
You can use any machine from the Speedy laser engraver series for this application.

Step by step
Step 1: Cardboard Artoz 220gm²: Design
You can use the template we have provided or, alternatively, you can create your own unique design. Send the job for the green and cream cardboard pieces to your laser machine using the following settings:

Step 3: Transparent paper 90gm²: Import/create laser template
Again, you can create your own design or use the one we have povided for you. Send the transparent paper job to the laser with the settings below.

Step 5: Assembly
- Stick 4 adhesive dots inside the marking line on the front of the green card.
- Fold the green card along the centerline. Remove the masking paper from the adhesive dots and secure the cream card to the front of the green card. Use the marking line as a guide.
Now insert the prepared, ready-printed folded insert with the information on the celebration into the folding card. - Fold the transparent paper tab along the two vertical lines.
- Place the transparent tab on the invitation card so that they lie on top of each other.
- Finally, turn the card over and glue the transparent paper tab to the overlap with a glue dot.
