Eremit Display stands for quality, flexibility and speed
Founded by Hans Eremit in 1927, Eremit Display was initially based in Vienna prior to moving to its current location in Wildungsmauer in Lower Austria in 1960. Today, Eremit is one of the leading Austrian companies in the field of plastics processing and has 26 employees spread over two production sites.
The family business offers a wide range of products, including displays, signage, promotional items, trophies, shopfitting, and much more. The company is at the cutting edge of technology, integrating a range of different technologies into their production, including laser cutting and engraving machines, glueing, bending, CNC milling, as well as technologies for digital plate printing and screen printing.
Profitable serial production thanks to laser technology
Eremit work with a range of materials including wood, cardboard and textiles, however, their main work involves acrylic processing. The range of materials processed by the company allows them to offer a wide range of products. Due to the rapid changes in the market mixed with demanding customer requirements, the company found that its existing machines were no longer productive. This was in part due to a lot of manual reworking of the components being necessary. This led to the company looking for a more profitable solution for their manufacturing.
The laser systems enable efficient and optimised series production with a polished cutting edge. We also attach great importance to quality of service for all our laser machines. That is why we chose Trotec as a long-term partner.
Innovative machinery including Trotec laser systems
The Eremit family attaches great importance to high-quality and modern technologies. This belief led the company to investing in laser cutting technology in 2003. The company currently operate six Trotec laser cutting systems:
- five SP1500
- a Speedy 300
The lasers are equipped with different technical specifications and options to efficiently meet all requirements and customer demands. The lasers have been perfectly integrated into the production process, which guarantees high quality and short delivery times for customers.
Pioneer in innovation and sustainability
The fourth generation of the family business built a new production facility at the end of 2019. Along with the open and optimised architecture of the hall, the focus is on a high level of environmental awareness. All acrylic cutting residues are ground and recycled. In addition, all laser cutting machines are connected to a high-tech extraction system. This converts the waste heat of the laser machine and the hall into heat or energy and, together with fresh outside air, serves either as cooling in summer or as heating in winter. This makes Eremit a pioneer in the field of innovation and sustainability.
