From high contrast markings to deep engravings, laser-engraved products are resistant to abrasion, heat, cold, acids, chemicals and alcohol, and most importantly, they last! Even type sizes as small as 1 point are no problem for the precise laser beam. A variety of materials such as coated or bare metals (e.g. steel, aluminum, etc.), numerous plastics (e.g. polyamides, PP, ABS, etc.), composite materials, natural or synthetic fibers, and much more can be processed with the laser.

Possibilities and limits.

Almost all laser marking systems on the market have limitations. An enclosed laser system has limited space for the parts to be marked, but in many cases has a Class 1 or 2 laser safety rating. An open laser system can mark very large workpieces, but requires a laser safety enclosure and (required by law in most countries) a laser safety officer. To meet these requirements, Trotec has developed a "flexible marking station" together with a specialist for automation solutions, which is available as standard in 2 versions.

Laser with Z-axis & table – for large parts.

The marking cell offers the advantage of total flexibility. The "open" system is equipped with the InMarker integration laser and the patented Safetycone safety module. This achieves laser safety class 2 (without pilot laser even laser safety class 1) and saves effort, costs and space for a laser safety housing! A wide variety of materials and sizes of components and products can be marked up to a maximum height of 850 mm. The cell can be used as a stand-alone workstation or fully integrated into an automated process.

Laser with cobot & table - automated laser solution.

The low weight of the InMarker integration laser with the Safetycone safety module makes it possible to use a robot or cobot even with a low payload. The Safetycone also saves effort, cost and space for a laser safety enclosure! This means that a wide variety of materials and different sizes of components and products can be automatically marked.

Product Development.

Because completely new product developments cost our customers time and money, we usually use assemblies from our standard series as a basis. We have also developed these laser solutions to complement the InMarker series. Depending on the customer's requirements, we focus on ensuring that the end products fit perfectly into the work process of your production facility. However, if customization is required, our Galvo Competence Center will create a suitable solution.
