Learn in this tutorial how you can create colored annealing on stainless steel with a MOPA laser.
Preparation
What you will require
1 x Stainless steel key ring
Trotec Machine used
- SpeedMarker 700
- 20 watt MOPA
- f254 lens
You may also use any other machine of the SpeedMarker series, Speedy fiber or Speedy flexx.
Recommendations
The alloy on the material used will determine the results on stain less steel. A slight varience is possible.
You are advised to adjust the width pulse in order to achieve the different colours. Black colour markings can only be achieved when a standard fiber laser of the SpeedMarker Series, a Speedy fiber or Speedy flexx is used.

Download our laser ready template or create your own. Import the PDF with layers into SpeedMark and assign parameters and fillings to the object.
