Applications
Tips
1. When processing TroGlass Mirror and woods, a masking tape can be applied to the material surface. This reduces the risk of scratches and flashback for TroGlass Mirror, while the masking tape minimizes sap leakage onto woods
2. If processing TroGlass Mirror with adhesive backing, multiple passes are needed to engrave, firstly through the adhesive and secondly to engrave the material. We recommend a higher laser power for this
3. For best results when processing acrylic, raise the material off the laser bed, or leave the protective coverings on to minimise flaming
4. To achieve best results when processing foils, low power and fast speed should be used
5. Remember to invert the design when processing TroGlass Mirror
Assembly:
Once all elements are laser cut and engraved, the self-adhesive backing can be removed and the pieces affixed. Take care with this process as the adhesive is difficult to remove when applied.
As foils are delicate materials, take extra care when removing the backing to not damage the material.
