Halloween lantern
Step by step instruction
In this DIY tutorial we will show you how to make an amazingly scary lantern for the upcoming holiday of Halloween. For this spooky lantern, we used our TroGlass Colour Gloss in Orange and Black, although you can use any colour. You will find the graphic file and the JobControl® laser parameters at the end of the page.
Preparation
Required material
- 1/4 sheet of TroGlass Color Gloss black or orange
- Acrylic glue
Machine used
- Speedy 400, 80 watt
- 2" lens
- Vacuum table with acrylic cutting grid
Tips
Use the 2" lens for best cutting results.
Remove the protective foil on the back of the acrylic after cutting. This prevents the material from being scratched.

Import the file and adapt or create your own design. Remove the protective foil from the front of the acrlic and place it into the laser machine.
