Halloween lantern
Step by step instruction
In this tutorial we will show you how to create a creepy Halloween decoration. We used TroGlass Colour Gloss in Orange and Black. The graphic file and the JobControl® laser parameters can be found at the end of the page.
Preparation
Required materials
- 1/4 sheet of TroGlass Colour Gloss black or orange
- Acrylic glue
Laser machine used
- Speedy 400, 80 watt with 2" lens
- Vacuum table with acrylic laser cutting grid
Tips
Use the 2" lens for perfect laser cutting results.
Remove the protective foil on the back of the acrylic after laser cutting, as this prevents the material from being scratched during processing.
Step by step
Step 1: Preparation
Begin by importing our graphic or creating your own design. Remove the protective foil from the front of the acrylic and load the material onto the laser machine bed.
Send the job to the laser using the settings below.

Step 3: Assembly
Begin by removing the protective foil from the material, then clean your laser cut components using a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Glue the five components together and your lantern is now ready to scare guests and trick or treaters!
