Air Assist

Laser processing affects materials differently, and creates a variety of results. During laser engraving and laser cutting, using Air Assist in the form of compressed air can significantly influence and improve the results. Air Assist also protects the laser optics (lens) from damage caused by a build up of dust. Air Assist automatically controlled by JobControl Software, and swicthes on and off as needed. When Air Assist is installed as a factory fitted option with the pump installed, both two units are housed together within the machine. Most Trotec Laser systems are equipped with the Air Assist; which can also be connected to an external air compressor.
