Galvo CO2 Laser for large organic materials
Efficient Edge Sealing: How Laser Processing Streamlines Work with Synthetic Materials
Industrial laser processing increasingly involves organic materials. The heat of the laser beam seals the edges of synthetic materials such as foam or textiles, eliminating the need for post-processing. This saves time and money.
A perfect match
Galvo laser systems are typically used to optimize the workflow of industrial production processes. These systems are many times faster than flatbed lasers, but have a smaller work envelope. To meet this challenge, the SpeedMarker 1600 has been adapted. Equipped with an X-axis on which a short CO2 laser source is mounted, it enables the processing of larger organic materials / workpieces.
Optimized extraction
To prevent the smoke and fumes generated during the laser process from adhering to the material, extraction is always required. For this purpose, we have installed a flat nozzle that is mounted between the short distance between the table top and the axis and directly extracts any particles. The result is cleaner processing and perfect results.
Customized solutions
Since developing completely new products costs our customers time and money, we usually start by building on our standard series. We have also developed this machine adaptation to complement the SpeedMarker series. The proven SpeedMark software is used to control the machine as usual.
Do you have any requests for customization or any other individual requirements? Our Galvo Competence Center will be happy to work out a suitable solution for you.
