Extra safety measure
Trotec created the temperature sensor as an extra safety measure. Some materials, such as acrylic, tend to flame, particularly during cutting. If the temperature inside the engraving compartment exceeds a critical value, the laser emits a warning sound to alert the operator. The operator can then take action immediately. Nevertheless, laser machines should never be left operating unattended.
