Preparation

Materials required
  • TroGlass 3 mm or other suitable material
Laser machine used
  • Speedy 360, 80 watt with a 2" lens

For this application sample you can use any laser machine from the Speedy laser engraver series.

Tip

We suggest using a measuring calliper when measuring the item that the jig is to be used for. If working with acrylic make sure your bed is completely sealed off to ensure that you create a nice clean edge.

Inspiration

  • Jigs can be used for almost any products you can think of, including pet tags, keys, components and more
  • Jigs are particularly helpful for laser engraving odd-shaped items which can be challenging and time consuming. Using a jig helps to provide repeatability, accuracy, and interchangeability
  • You can make several jigs and improve your daily workflow
