TM Sign Solutions - a family business in the second generation.

Josef Maier founded TM Sign Solutions as an engraving company in Passau in 1971. With the arrival of junior boss Thomas Maier, the company was renamed "TM Sign Solutions GmbH" and modernised with the introduction of the first laser machine. TM Sign Solutions now employs 15 people, has its own showroom and salesroom in Passau and has a large machine park with high-quality equipment covering different applications, including printing, cutting and laser.

One supplier for numerous products.

TM Sign Solutions offers a range of products and services including classical advertising signs, displays and industrial signs alongside medals and cups, as well as individual customer requests. Under the brand "Brandmark`l - engraved gifts" customers can also purchase beautiful, personalised gifts. Thanks to the large machine park and the qualified employees, numerous materials including metal, plastic, acrylic, wood, glass, slate, textiles and much more can be processed according to the respective customer wishes. TM Sign Solutions receive a range of orders from customers, some with an already finished concept, others with only an idea, whereupon TM Sign Solutions creative department provides drafts. Thomas Maier and his team are highly motivated to advise and satisfy their customers in the best possible way.



Modernising the business with laser technology

With the takeover of the company from Thomas Maier, a modern wind came into the company. In order to combine the company with modern media and to be able to offer additional products, new technology such as laser cutting machines were slowly added to the business alongside the mechanical engraving machines still in use today. In addition to the innovative approach, the main motivation for the purchase of the laser engraving machines was the possibility of productive serial production of engraving products. TM Sign Solutions now uses five Trotec laser machines: a Speedy 400 flexx laser engraver, a GS1000 laser cutter, a SpeedMarker 300 and two SpeedMarkers 700 laser marking machines. The Trotec lasers are used to mark, engrave and cut applications made of a wide variety of materials. In order to be as profitable and flexible as possible, the entire application team is trained so that everyone in the team can operate all devices.
