Step 1: Preparing the cutting file
Download the template (which you can find here) and open it in your favoured graphics software. Edit your initials, name or any text you want onto it.

Step 2: Laser cutting leather
Send the updated graphics file to the laser with these recommended settings. Please note that the parameters you use will depend on the kind of laser you have and its power:
Laser Settings
Engraving parameters (black graphic)
Power: 40 %, Speed: 80 %, Resolution: 500 ppi, air assist: ON
Cutting parameters (red lines)
Power: 40 %, Speed: 4 %, Frequency: 1000 Hz, air assist: ON

Step 3: Assemble the parts
To finish off, just fold the two leather pieces and stich them together along the dotted line which the laser will have perforated for you.

- Use a 1.5 inch lens to realise intricate engraving details
